Elaine Argueta

Hi, my name is Elaine Argueta and I am a licensed clinical social worker. I have been a clinical therapist for over 15 years and I have a very empathic style and have treated people with various issues in different stages of their lives I feel that therapy is not a one size fits all approach and together we could work on the issues that you feel are holding you back from having the life that you want to be living.

My approach

I am very client-centered in my approach and utilize different styles of therapy such as CBT, motivational interviewing, psychodynamic, and strengths perspective to name a few.

My focus

I work with clients ages 14 and up and I have a lot of experience working through many various obstacles such as depression, anxiety, grief, and substance abuse/addictions.

My communication style

I am very empathic and I feel that I have a style that makes the client feel safe and comfortable communicating easily.

My journey to mental healthcare

I chose to become a therapist because I love to work with people and to help others start their journey of positivity and change.

My goals for you

I feel that it is very important to create goals together and to identify and reevaluate them as treatment progresses.

My first session with you

In the first session is very important to build a rapport as well as go over the important history, and pertinent information, and also talk about the expectations and goals of therapy.
