My name is Esteban J. Rios and I am a practicing therapist with over 29 years working in the human services field. I have a passion for helping people reach their highest potential in life. I have a desire to help people understand their past experiences and help them make changes in their lives.

I am attentive to my clients' needs and goals. I take a holistic approach to my work. I use evidence-based practices to inform treatment, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Motivational Interviewing.
My focus
I have worked with individuals, couples, and families. I work mostly with individuals dealing with anxiety and depression.

I have a conversational approach to therapy. I work to create a safe space for people to feel comfortable expressing themselves without judgment.

I am dedicated to helping others. I am driven by the notion that we all have a purpose in this life and deserve to reach our goals no matter the obstacles.

I take a person-centered approach to goal setting. This is a collaboration. The client determines the pace of how we navigate and move towards goals.
My first session with you
During the initial session, we discuss the intention of therapy and develop a plan for treatment. Some background information is collected to set the foundation and tone for treatment.
