Hi there, I'm Jessica!

Hello! My name is Jessica and I am a psychotherapist here to help you learn more about yourself and live a more fulfilling life via telehealth therapy. I work primarily with young adults, adults and teenagers. I specialize in anxiety and depression, as well as trauma and women's issues.

My approach

My approach to therapy is helping my clients learn more about themselves and empowering them to make changes that will meet their needs. My clients can expect to feel more self-aware and at peace with themselves. They can also expect to have a greater understanding of their emotions and triggers.

My focus

I primarily work with young adults between the ages of 20-35. I have found that this age group suffers from anxiety, depression, and trauma disorders. Likewise, this age group is going through many life transitions that require insight and big decision-making. I am here to help navigate these ambivalent times so individuals can move towards their goals.

My communication style

I generally prefer a very relaxed environment when working with my clients. As a therapist, you can expect me to be direct, personable, warm, and trusting. I want my clients to feel comfortable talking to me about anything, as I listen without judgment.

My journey to mental healthcare

My goal in becoming a therapist was always to help people. Growing up, many people around me felt comfortable talking to me during difficult times and sharing their big emotions with me. I realized I had some natural strengths when it came to listening to others as well as a passion for helping people. To this day, this career fulfills me, and I know I made the right decision.

My goals for you

My clients can expect to feel more self-aware and at peace with themselves. They can also expect to have a greater understanding of their emotions and triggers. With therapy, I hope to help others feel more authentic and confident with themselves and how they choose to live their lives. To start, my clients tell me what they want to work on, and we go from there.

My first session with you

My clients should expect to talk openly about what brought them to therapy and talk about how they have been feeling recently. My goal during the first session is to help my clients feel comfortable and for us to begin to build a connection. I also like to review the client's personal history if they are comfortable sharing.
