Margaret Mui is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with many years of working with adults and children in areas of emotional health, stress reduction. interpersonal relationships, understanding family dynamics, couples therapy, parenting skills and helping the person/family to succeed through insight and strength building. Each person has their own unique journey in life and may face challenges at times that would benefit from someone who is well trained, practical, creative, and caring. Margaret is here to help you discover your own journey and unique ways of coping with life’s transitions and developing skills that may be broadly applied to personal, family, work, and life-long goals.

My communication style
I believe each person is unique and has their own strengths and beauty awaiting to be revealed with support from a well-trained, creative and caring therapist. The client is encouraged to speak up and share their feelings at any time for their voices to be heard and to experience acceptance and support.
My journey to mental healthcare
I believe in the eternal value of the person and am honored to be a part of someone's life journey to encourage and appreciate them to see their own strengths, beauty and value in this world. I see life as art, where I'm motivated to integrate my skills in counseling, faith, business management, technology, humor and creativity in my work with clients.

Clients express what they ultimately wish to accomplish and we will work toward the goal together in accordance with their situation and pace.
My first session with you
I will go over the general guidelines for our time together, open up communication for expectations, preferences for both parties and clients may share background info and reasons that brought them to the session.
