Welcome to a brave space! My name is Karleen Sarduy and I am LCSW in New York with over 15 years of experience working in community-based mental health, health setting, and child education settings, providing both individual therapy and family therapy. My goal is to help clients gain better insight into their experiences while empowering a greater capacity for self-compassion and change.
My approach
Throughout my career, I have specialized and trained with Depression, Trauma, and, Anxiety. I will support you by providing tools (Motivational Interviewing, Mindfulness, CBT, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy) that I may use to help you work through these areas.
My focus
My work focuses on developing an empathic and trusting therapeutic relationship with you. I have experience working with individuals who struggle with depression, anxiety, difficulty forming and maintaining meaningful relationships, and life transitions.

I provide a comfortable, relaxed, and brave space. My hope is that this space could lead to establishing a comprehensive treatment plan that will address your present needs. I will help you create a more authentic, productive, fulfilling, and meaningful life.
