Hi my name is Helen S Wilson and I am a licensed professional counselor in the state of South Carolina. I utilize different methods to help my clients work through issues such as depression, anxiety, relationship troubles and employment stressors.
My approach
I utilize solution focused therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, person-centered therapy as well as other methods to best assist my clients.
My focus
I am comfortable working with adults to address and resolve issues that are causing depression and/or anxiety. I also have experience working with couples to sort through relationship difficulties.
My communication style
Working with me means addressing your issues in a non-judgmental environment. I like my clients to feel free to be completely honest with me. My style is to be earnest, yet informal and infused with humor when appropriate.

For me being a therapist means I am able to help people in a meaningful way because we work together to achieve their goals.
My goals for you
I allow my clients to set their own goals and I use my input to fine tune them.

During our first session we will have a conversation where you will tell me about yourself and what your expectations are from me regarding your treatment.
