Hi there, I'm Seema!

Hello! Welcome to the first step of therapy - reaching out for support. I am an experienced clinician with twenty years of service in the field.

My approach

My approach is to provide a warm, empathic, non-judgemental safe space to process. I use an eclectic blend of therapeutic modalities, including cognitive behavior therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, motivational interviewing, and solution-focused treatment. Interventions are aimed at helping clients learn and practice new skills.

My focus

I have been counseling children, adolescents, and adults from various backgrounds and cultures.

My communication style

I work collaboratively with my clients to develop personalized goals that will bring about healing, self-growth, increased life satisfaction, and healthy relations/communications with others.

My journey to mental healthcare

2/10/00 - 1/11/01 Internship includes 3,080 hours worked (1,084 direct face-to-face contact hours, 113 hours of direct supervision). All Hours obtained at Women's Resource Center Tulsa, OK
