Hi there, I'm Najja!

Through my own journey of development, I discovered a passion for helping others in dealing with the frailties of the human condition. Allow me to help you find the beauty in vulnerability.

My approach

I utilize a wide range of theoretical orientations in efforts to aid people in their battles with anxiety, depression, etc. My approach draws from Adlerian, Cognitive Behavioral (CBT), Coaching, Compassion Focused, Culturally Sensitive, Dialectical (DBT), Existential, Motivational Interviewing, Solution Focused, and Person-Centered modalities.

My focus

I have worked with a wide range of clientele and diagnoses, including adults, adolescents, individuals, couples, and families. I have experience working with people struggling with addictions, communities of color dealing with issues of discrimination, and the LGBTQIA community. My specialties include addiction, anxiety, coping skills, sports performance, and racial identity.

My communication style

I pride myself on my capacity to connect with people. I can be of assistance with the majority of daily struggles.

My journey to mental healthcare

I earned my Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. From September 2018 to March 2021, I completed my clinical hours for licensure at Sinfonia Family Services and David Lawrence Centers.
