Hi there, I'm Diana!

Do you often struggle with stress and feel weighed down by feelings of anxiety? Are you feeling down and need to talk about what you are experiencing? Maybe it is time to take that first step and embark on a journey to mental wellness. I am Diana Lozano, and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor. I am here to listen with an open mind, acceptance, respect, and without judgment. Together we can take that journey toward healing and clarity.

My approach

Together we can work on enhancing life so that you can live it to its fullest. I am versed in many counseling modalities, such as Solution Focused Therapy, Person-Centered Approach, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), EMDR, Family Systems, Gottman Method, Interpersonal, Multicultural, Mindfulness-Based, Psychobiological Approach Couples Therapy (PACT), and Trauma Focused therapy.

My focus

I have extensive experience working with children, adolescents, and adults. My specialties include ADHD, anxiety, career counseling, depression, coping skills, divorce, grief, impulse control disorders, infidelity, life transitions, mood disorders, parenting, relationship issues, school issues, self-esteem, self-harming, stress, suicidal ideation, trauma and PTSD, women's issues, weight loss, transgender issues, and LGBTQIA+. I am willing to see minors (ages 13-17), children (ages 5-7), individuals, couples, families, and preteens (ages 8-12).

My communication style

I will provide a safe place for you to process everything that has happened so that you can stay centered in such an unpredictable time that is filled with unknowns. I am here to listen with an open mind, acceptance, respect, and without judgment.

My journey to mental healthcare

I have 17 years of experience working with children, adolescents, and adults in mental healthcare. From July 2019 to April 2021, I completed clinical hours for licensure at San Benito CISD in San Benito, TX. My extensive experience has prepared me to help people heal from emotional distress originating from traumatic life experiences.

My goals for you

Together we can take that journey toward healing and clarity. My goal is to help you enhance your life so that you can live it to its fullest. I aim to provide a safe, non-judgmental space for you to process your experiences and find your path to wellness.

My first session with you

In our first session, we will discuss what brings you to therapy and what you hope to achieve.
