Vincent Hochstatter is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Texas with over 10 years of experience in the mental health field serving individuals, adolescents, and families. I hold a strong passion for helping others and creating personalized treatment plans to help clients reach their desired goals.
My approach
My counseling style is rooted in trauma-informed care, a strengths-based approach, and non-judgmental client-centered therapy. I utilize a multifaceted therapeutic approach based on each client's unique needs, drawing from modalities such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), humanistic and mindfulness-based approaches, as well as trauma-focused and Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT).
My focus
I work with a wide range of clients including minors aged 8-17, individuals, couples, and families. My areas of specialty include anger management, behavioral issues, divorce, grief, video game addiction, thought disorders, ADHD, anxiety, depression, coping skills, impulse control disorders, family conflict, gambling, hoarding, domestic violence, life transitions, mood disorders, life coaching, parenting, relationship issues, suicidal ideation, stress, and spirituality.

My communication style aims to create a safe, supportive, and collaborative environment. I listen empathetically, ask insightful questions, and provide direct yet compassionate feedback to guide clients in gaining greater self-awareness and making positive changes. I tailor my approach to each client's communication preferences.
My journey to mental healthcare
From 08/2015 to 08/2017, I completed my clinical hours for licensure at the Waco Center for Youth located at 3015 N. 19th Street, Waco, Texas 76708. This experience, along with my decade of work in the mental health field, instilled in me a deep commitment to supporting individuals and families in overcoming challenges and living fulfilling lives.

My first session with you
In our first session, we will discuss what brings you to therapy and begin to explore your unique story, strengths, and goals. I will gather some background information and collaboratively we will start to develop a plan for our work together. You can expect me to be engaged, affirming, and focused on understanding your needs. Building a trusting therapeutic relationship is my top priority from the very start.
