My name is Rebecca Phipps. I am a licensed professional counselor, certified partner specialist, and an EMDR-trained therapist. I am an evidence-based, solution-focused therapist. I use interactive, educational, and practical skill-based approaches that empower clients to achieve their goals.
My approach
The modalities I use include cognitive behavioral therapy, emotionally focused therapy, a solution strength-based focus, dialectical therapy, EMDR, and a multi-dimensional partner trauma model. Each approach is specific to the client and their needs.

I understand that life brings challenges and a desire to find solutions so that life can be lived with a sense of peace and well-being. My desire is to help others as they struggle with living life with today's challenges.

In the first session, I like to get to know the client, their background, specific needs, and current life challenges. There may be some homework.
