Hi there, I'm Georgina!

"Hello there! I’m Georgina Camacho and I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor (LPC-S) in San Antonio, Texas. I’ve been working as a therapist for the last 20+ years in a variety of settings, collecting a broad range of experience with diverse clients. I have a profound regard for supporting and assisting individuals who have often felt misunderstood, mistreated and dismissed by systems in their lives. I strive to build trusting and safe relationships with each client I meet. My clinical training has allowing me to support individuals with a wide variety of issues including anxiety, depression, trauma, complex trauma, family conflict, personality disorders and social and racial injustice. I have a special focus for working along with individuals struggling with intergenerational trauma, issues related to guilt, shame and grief. My therapy approach focuses on identifying and recognizing how each individual’s early history, attachment patterns, identity and family roles, and those within their systems. My goal is to help anyone suffering with distressing and overwhelming feelings and emotions to get a better sense of what the healing journey might look like, and effectively “reach” parts of ourselves we believe are sabotaging o your own happiness. Learning how to unfold the story you hold , and thereby open new pathways to healing.
