Hi there, I'm April!

Therapy can be one of the most rewarding things you can do for yourself. Therapy is a personal journey, and I am honored to be the therapist to help you expand and strengthen your insight and awareness. My goal is to help you understand yourself better and equip you with skills to actualize your best self. My therapy style is developmental and supportive, with a strong focus on thinking about our thinking. Together we can explore narratives to reframe them into a healthier, more self-compassionate internal dialogue of self-acceptance. My approaches are engaging, workable, and direct. I have over 20 years of experience treating symptoms associated with: depression, anxiety, stress, feelings of overwhelm, life transition difficulties, grief, and trauma. I am encouraging and non-judgmental, and my goal is to engage each individual in a way that best meets their needs.
