Hello! My name is Heidi Reddin and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) based in New Braunfels, TX, I see clients throughout Texas via telehealth. I work with adults and specialize in trauma, anxiety, depression, stress, self-esteem, and major life transitions. I use Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Attachment Therapy, and Person-Centered Therapy as modalities to explore client concerns.
My approach
My approach to therapy varies based on a client's needs. The client explores their areas of focus and goals and together we formulate a strategy plan: building understanding and compassion towards self, identifying and building awareness of triggers and responses, and tools for support.

My communication style
My communication style is calm, non-judgmental, and taking the pace the client feels most comfortable with.
My journey to mental healthcare
I decided to become a therapist because I wanted to help provide hope, encouragement, and light for those navigating through darkness, struggle, and uncertainty. It is a humbling and awesome experience to be able to see a client grow and transform into the best versions of who they are.
My goals for you
My approach to goal setting with clients is working together to identify what a client wants to get out of therapy, and what their areas of focus would be. This often would start by building trust with one another and taking the pace the client feels most comfortable with. As our time progresses, a client's goals may stay the same or change. We will continue to work together, adjust goals if needed, and track progress accordingly.
My first session with you
Our first session is going to be more of a consultation. I will ask questions to get a better understanding of how you have been feeling recently, how you have been coping, and what areas you may want to further explore. During this time, that initial connection will help build the stages of trust.
