My goals for you
Positive outcomes from therapy rely on the relationship between; therapist and client. Develop coping skills; Reduce the intensity of symptoms; Increase self-esteem and reduce negative self-talk; Processing thoughts and feelings about past trauma; Discover more about who you are, what you want, and where your values lie.
My first session with you
The first session is about building an initial connection and helping me get a sense of where we should go from there. I use a variety of counseling techniques, such as Motivational Interviewing to help clients gain insights into their presenting concerns and initiate positive behavior change, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to reconstruct maladaptive thoughts and behavioral patterns. I believe in walking alongside my clients throughout their counseling journey by establishing trust and providing a safe space to foster vulnerability. I aim to help clients identify viable solutions, establish healthy coping techniques, gain new insights, and find relief from their presenting concerns.
