Hi there, I'm Solomon!

I am a Virginia Board Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Eligible Substance Abuse Counselor, and Founder of Universal Transitions and Consulting, LLC. I am honored to provide therapy services to clients during a pivotal point in their lives. As a seasoned Therapist I am proficient in working with adults, families, and groups from various backgrounds ranging from residential treatment centers, court-ordered programs, inpatient and outpatient programs, emergency service centers, and community service boards. My specialty areas include, but not limited to, working with adults with psychosocial stressors related to mental health, substance abuse, interpersonal/intrapersonal conflicts, (I.e.: work/life balance, relationship dysfunction, Grief and loss, depression, anxiety, life transitions, and coping skills). My holistic therapeutic approach is interactive, empathic, and directive. I will partner with you consistently in a safe, non-judgmental, confidential, and nurturing environment to gain an understanding of your barriers. As a Therapist, I will focus on your strengths to empower you to make healthier life choices to overcome obstacles to improve relationships with yourself and others. I am extremely passionate about educating, advocating, and helping to build communities of well-being by providing individuals and families with a range of prevention, intervention, and behavioral health treatment services. The services I provide are culturally inclusive, client/family-focused, and recovery-centered through service excellence, leadership, and treatment.
