Hi there, I'm Amanda!

Hello! My name is Amanda de Selding, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I received a bachelor's degree in Social Work and a minor in Psychology from Virginia Wesleyan University in 2016. I went on to earn a Masters's degree in Social Work from the University of Southern California in 2018. I am passionate about helping people reach their full potential, and seeing my clients achieve their goals means everything to me. I recognize that healing and growth will look different for everyone, so my goal is to treat those that I work from an individualized approach. I have experience working with individuals struggling with mental health, substance abuse, and addiction. I use a combination of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, and a solution-focused/strengths approach to help my clients reach their specific goals. I know that asking for help can be complicated and intimidating. My goal is to lessen the stress of taking that first step. I look forward to working with you to begin your process of healing.
