My name is Stephanie Craddock, and I am a Clinical Social Worker committed to providing clients with a warm, supportive environment in which they can explore and grow.
My approach
My approach involves meeting the client where they are in their journey, with empathy and acceptance. While I tailor my approach depending on the needs of the client, I typically use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to help clients reach their goals.
My focus
The clients I typically work with are dealing with stress and anxiety, maybe due to a major life change or having anxiety impact their life for no known reason. I also enjoy working with older adults and the people who care for them.
My communication style
My communication style is calm and personable. I create a warm environment where clients can feel comfortable expressing themselves and feel supported and encouraged.
My journey to mental healthcare
I decided to become a therapist because I’ve always had a desire to help people. I enjoy listening to people and making sure they feel heard and understood. I also have a passion for making sure nobody feels alone with whatever it is they’re facing.
My goals for you
I work collaboratively with my clients to help them establish attainable goals, then work with them to move towards those goals they have set for themselves.
My first session with you
In our first session, I will work to build a relationship with you where you feel comfortable and at ease speaking about how you've been feeling. I will mostly be listening to you, as well as asking some questions to gain a better understanding of what brings you to therapy.
