Christy Hensley, LCSW Trauma/PTSD, Complex PTSD, Borderline Personality Disorder, Chronic Health Issues, Anxiety, OCD, ADHD, those seeking self growth Through an empathetic, non-judgemental approach I create a space in which my clients can feel safe, seen, and heard. I have experience helping clients with trauma and abuse, health problems, stress and anxiety, self-esteem, relationship & career difficulties. I enjoy helping clients to achieve personal growth and increased inner harmony as well as to find meaning and fulfillment in their lives. I use EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing) when possible, for getting to the root of many of my clients' problems that they have been experiencing throughout their lives. I am licensed in Virginia and Maine.

I use a variety of modalities including EMDR, CBT, Psychodynamic, DBT, IFS. I am currently working on certification in Traumatic Stress Studies
