Hi there, I'm Michael!

Michael T. Hester is an Expert People Developer (EPD), United States Army and Georgia National Guard veteran; a servant-leader with over 25 years of experience in the helping field. As a graduate of the Adler-Dreikurs Institute, Bowie State University, Washington Bible College, Prince George’s Community College, and the Academy of Health Sciences, He earned numerous professional validating credentials. In addition to being a psychotherapist and educator, I served during the Persian Gulf War.

My approach

Although he specialized in Adlerian therapeutic techniques, complementary methodologies are integrated to offer a highly personalized and holistic approach to therapy (Gestalt, Positive Psychology, Strength-Based, Cognitive Behavioral (CBT), Psychoanalytic, Dialectical Behavioral (DBT), Motivational Interviewing, and Behavior Modification.)

My focus

His client focus is adolescents, adults, and seniors. More of my specialties are PTSD, Men's Issues, Grief, Loss, Anxiety, Stress, Anger Management, Substance Abuse, and Relationship Issues.
