Hi there, I'm Zakia!

The relationship is therapy. The most important aspect of healing is the degree of safety the client experiences with you. Security is how well-connected they are with you. You strive to understand the person to help them understand themselves. I am holding space unconditionally, without judgment. I aim to provide that for my clients. My specialty areas are trauma, relationship issues, identity issues/self-worth, transitions/stressors, and distorted thinking patterns.
