Hello! My name is Cassandra Merrick LPC. I am an African American female, who understands the challenges of work-life balance. I live by the Golden Rule, of treating others the way I want to be treated. I am eager to help others discover or work through life's obstacles to gain optimum success. Everyone is different so my counseling style will vary depending on the individual.
My approach
I cater my counseling style to the individual's specific needs. Person-Centered, CBT and solution-focused therapies are used to assist with managing many issues that occur in life.

Anxiety, Stress, Substance Abuse, Caregiving, Grief
My communication style
A safe environment, where they would feel comfortable, not judged, and absolutely heard. They will have the freedom to explore and discuss any issues or concerns which will increase their feelings of empowerment!
