My journey to mental healthcare
I began my journey in mental healthcare by earning my Master of Social Work degree with a focus on Management and Community Organization/Clinical, Families and Children from the University of Maryland, Baltimore School of Social Work. I was motivated to enter this field to make a positive difference in people's lives and support them through life's challenges.
My goals for you
My goal is to empower you with the insights, coping skills, and tools to navigate difficult times, gain new perspectives, improve your relationships and sense of self, and make meaningful, lasting changes to enhance your overall wellbeing and life satisfaction. I'm here to walk beside you on your journey of growth and transformation.
My first session with you
In our first session, we'll discuss what brings you to therapy and begin getting to know one another. I'll ask about your history, current circumstances, goals, and challenges. We'll also discuss the therapy process and address any questions you may have. Most importantly, we'll start building the therapeutic relationship that will serve as the foundation for our work together.
