I am a mental health professional with 30 years of experience treating substance use disorders and providing individual, couples, adolescent, and family therapy. My approach is grounded in the belief that our value systems are dynamic and shaped by our life experiences.

My primary modality is Motivational Interviewing, with cognitive behavioral therapy and family systems serving as the foundation for my work. I aim to help you clarify the filters through which you perceive information, recognizing and honoring your evolving value system.
My focus
I work with individuals, couples, families, and adolescents aged 13-17. My areas of specialty include addiction, alcohol use, anxiety, behavioral issues, chronic relapse, codependency, coping skills, depression, dual diagnosis, drug abuse, family conflict, impulsivity, men's issues, mood disorders, relapse prevention, relationship issues, spirituality, stress, and substance use.

I hold a Master of Social Work degree and have dedicated my career to helping others navigate life's challenges. Over the past 30 years, I have honed my skills in various therapeutic modalities to better serve my clients and their unique needs.

My goal in working with you is to help you recognize and understand the filters through which you perceive information, as these filters can sometimes lead to cognitive distortions. Together, we will work to clarify these filters and support the growth of your value system into who you want to be.
