Not currently accepting patients

Hi there, I'm Jordan!

My name is Jordan Gray, and I am a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT#106723) coming up with nine (9) years of clinical experience with over 125 consumers treated to date. I focus on adolescents (13 to 17), young adults (18 to 24), and adults (25 to 65+). And while in session, I make an effort to be compassionate, direct, approachable, and transparent.

My approach

Although I am trained in eye movement, desensitization, & reprocessing (EMDR), I adhere more to cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and motivational interviewing approaches to cultivate the individual experience.

My focus

The consumers I work alongside are typically being treated for anxiety, depression, mood disorders, neurodivergent issues, ADHD, impulse control, bipolar disorder, burnout, and life transitions (e.g., graduation, career moves, relocation, loss of relationships such as a breakup or divorce, etc.).

My communication style

I do my best to remain transparent and direct. If you have questions, I'll do my best to answer them or find someone who can. Additionally, I believe - with a client-centered focus, collaboration is important to creating meaningful growth.

My goals for you

Generally speaking, I operate under the acronym, SMART. The goals that we develop will essentially be "Specific, Measurable, Attainable/Accurate, Realistic, & Time Sensitive." The idea behind smart goals is to begin taking steps, even if they are small, in the direction of bigger objectives.

My first session with you

In the first session, I generally run through policies & procedures, initial intake and interview questions, and plans for the first three (3)-sessions. Second sessions are usually more history gathering and trying to understand you before jumping into deep process work. By the third session, assuming the therapeutic rapport continues to develop, a treatment plan incorporating the SMART objectives will be completed. At that point, the idea is that therapy becomes less mechanical and more fluid.
