Hi there, I'm Joseph!

Joseph Madrid is a Psychotherapist that believes all people should have the opportunity to reach their full potential, contribute to society, and have a voice. He has worked in a spectrum of services including community-based, workers' compensation system, acute, crisis, residential, at-risk youth programs, and longer-term outpatient treatment and counseling settings. Joseph is a therapist that empowers clients by using an integrative approach to his clinical work, matching evidence-based treatments from Schema Therapy, Social Worker therapies, Psychodynamic, Cognitive-Behavioral, Transtheoretical Model, and Family Systems that is individualized to each client he sees to best meet their actual needs. Joseph's education started with a BA in Human Development and Psychology from Vanguard University, a Master of Social Work from the University of Southern California, and a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. In addition, Joseph has specialized training in Schema Therapy, advanced Psychoanalysis, Mental Health Disorders, Treatment-Resistant Persistent Depression, Substance/Addiction Abuse Disorders, Grief and Loss, and he is also a Pre-Licensed Psychologist in addition to being a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. He is dedicated to helping you discover a new perspective on others, your future, and yourself so you can enjoy recovery and experience a happier life!
