Hi, my name is Vicky Rosales. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) based in Los Angeles, CA. I am a Trauma-Informed Therapist and understand the importance of the mind, body, and spirit connection. My expertise is working with youth and families impacted by the child welfare and juvenile justice system, providing both individual and family therapy. I am dedicated to creating a therapeutic relationship where you can express your emotions and life experience without judgment.
My approach
As a bilingual, bicultural therapist my approach is culturally centered. Family Systems, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Mindfulness are modalities frequently used in my practice. These modalities are helpful in building a shared understanding of one another in our work together. I am an ally to the LGBTQIA+ community and work to create a safe space for all. As a therapist and life-long learner, I am committed to learning and growing every day.
My focus
My goal is to create a safe space for growth and healing. A place where your voice is heard.
My communication style
You can expect me to be present, open, and nonjudgmental.
My goals for you
My goal is to walk with you and help you carve your own roadmap. To create a place where you feel safe, seen, and supported.
My first session with you
During our first session, I want to learn more about you. How are you feeling? What brings you to therapy? How can I support you on your journey? I hope our time together helps ground you and brings clarity. I look forward to working with you.
