Hi there, I'm Patti!

My name is Patti Rosenberg, LMFT. I have been practicing for over ten years. I’ve worked with children, adolescents, individuals, and couples. I have extensive training in trauma-based practices and work well with couples. I believe everyone needs an outlet to vent and gain a better perspective. When invested our best judgments are clouded; it’s my job to shed light and not give but help you gain a new perspective in whatever situation you are going through.

My approach

I being by building rapport. I want to know who you are, what your beliefs are, and your thoughts on your situation. I will engage in talk therapy and move to a cognitive behavior approach. Everything starts with a thought. It’s our place to learn to recognize any irrational thought and change it. This takes practice and my job is to walk beside you, as you learn how to master this new technique.

My focus

I enjoy working with all ages, particularly adults and couples. I value openness and honesty and practice what I teach. I will see couple but if I see you as part of a couple will not see you individually. I will not see children under 16 on a Telehealth platform. I have training in trauma, eating disorders, and personality disorders.

My communication style

I am an active listener. I want to understand. I also teach communication and use an assertive approach. I value my clients and every situation is new. I am way to talk to and make time for my clients.

My journey to mental healthcare

I knew I wanted to be a therapist since I was a little girl and had my own therapist. She changes my life. Since I have known that there are many people in this really big but lonely world that are hurting and I could perhaps be that one person who they can talk to.

My goals for you

Clients and I will work together beginning the first session to create goals. These goals will be short yearn and long-term. We will look at the progress each session and changes goals as needed.

My first session with you

In the first session, I want to get to know you. I will do an assessment which means lots of questions. I will also answer any questions you have. We will work on goals and I will provide direction for therapy.
