Hi, my name is Vivian Singleton, LMFT licensed in California. I approach therapy with potential clients from a client-centered approach, offering DBT, CBT, couples counseling.
My approach
My approach is from a psychodynamic and humanistic and behavioral standpoint.
My focus
I typically work with moderate to severely depressed clients, individuals experiencing psychosis impairments. In addition, working with couples struggling with communication, emotional intimacy, rupture in trust and intimacy.
My communication style
I'm very transparent, trusting, and authentic. I have a passion for working with individuals suffering and have been very successful in reaching the most difficult clients.
My journey to mental healthcare
I become a therapist to understand more about human drives, and how the personality develops due to generational trauma. I've always wanted to become a child psychologist, but I ended up being a therapist. Which has been the best career decision that I've made thus far.
