Hi there, I'm Christina!

As a compassionate therapist with a cognitive behavioral approach, I help clients of all ages alter unwanted behavior patterns and overcome life's challenges. With extensive experience working with individuals, children, families, and various groups, I strive to provide a safe space for growth and healing.

My approach

My therapeutic approach is grounded in evidence-based practices, including Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TFCBT) and Managing and Adapting Practice (MAP). By employing cognitive behavioral techniques, I guide clients in identifying and modifying unhelpful thought patterns and behaviors, empowering them to create positive change in their lives.

My focus

I specialize in supporting individuals and families navigating a wide range of concerns, including trauma, PTSD, depression, anxiety, adolescent issues, family conflict, relationship issues, parenting, and crisis management. With a strong focus on trauma-informed care, I help clients process past experiences and build resilience.

My communication style

Creating a warm, non-judgmental environment is at the heart of my practice. I believe in the power of open, honest communication and collaboration. Together, we will explore your unique challenges, set achievable goals, and develop practical strategies to help you thrive.

My journey to mental healthcare

My journey in mental healthcare began with a Master's degree in Counseling Psychology. I completed my clinical hours at the Children's Center of the Antelope Valley in Lancaster, CA, and Children's Institute, Inc. in Los Angeles, CA. These experiences solidified my passion for helping others and equipped me with the skills to make a meaningful difference.

My goals for you

My ultimate goal is to help you feel better, maximize your potential, and achieve the life you desire. Whether you're seeking support for yourself or your family, I am dedicated to walking alongside you on your path to wellness, offering guidance, insight, and unwavering support every step of the way.

My first session with you

During our first session, we will focus on building a strong therapeutic relationship founded on trust, respect, and understanding. I will listen attentively to your story, concerns, and goals, ensuring that you feel heard and validated. Together, we will begin to identify the key areas you wish to address and create a personalized treatment plan tailored to your unique needs and aspirations.
