I am a Licensed family and marriage therapist, licensed in California with over 15 years of experience working as a psychotherapist. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, parenting problems, career challenges, addiction issues, family and marriage problems, grief, and trauma.
My approach
My approach combines cognitive-behavioral, existential, and brief therapy. Every individual has needs and styles which are different and I will adjust my style to better fit your needs to maximize our sessions.
My focus
I am willing to see individuals and couples. My specialties include anger management, anxiety, behavioral issues, depression, domestic violence, family conflict, grief, life transitions, relationship issues, self-esteem, substance use, trauma and PTSD, stress, and divorce.
My communication style
My counseling style is warm and interactive. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion, and I don't believe in stigmatizing labels.
My journey to mental healthcare
I have previously worked with the incarcerated population and have been in management positions in SUD treatment centers and housing the chronically homeless population.
