Hi there, I'm Michelle!

As a therapist, I work with individual adults, children, and families to help them develop healthy, growing relationships with each other and find effective ways to cope. My goal is to support individuals in strengthening their relationships with themselves and others.

My approach

I utilize a client-centered approach in therapy because I believe in providing a judgement-free, safe, and supportive environment for clients to grow and create the change they want to see. I offer evidence-based treatments for diagnoses such as ADHD, trauma, anxiety, depression, and more.

My focus

My patient focus includes individuals of all ages, from children to older adults. I work with individuals, families, minors (ages 13-17), and preteens (ages 8-12). I specialize in areas such as ADHD, adolescent issues, aging, anger management, anxiety, behavioral issues, coping skills, depression, divorce, family conflict, grief, impulsivity, job stress, mood disorders, oppositional defiance, parenting, relationship issues, self-esteem, stress, thought disorders, trauma/PTSD, and women's issues.

My communication style

I aim to create a collaborative, non-judgmental space where clients feel heard and supported. By fostering open and honest communication, I work with clients to identify their unique challenges and develop personalized strategies for growth and positive change.

My journey to mental healthcare

I hold a Master of Science degree in Counseling with a focus on Marriage, Family, and Child Counseling. This educational background has equipped me with the knowledge and skills to effectively support individuals and families in their mental health journeys.

My goals for you

My primary goal is to empower you with the tools and insights needed to navigate life's challenges, build resilience, and cultivate a greater sense of well-being. Through our therapeutic work together, I aim to help you gain a deeper understanding of yourself, strengthen your relationships, and develop effective coping strategies to lead a more fulfilling life.

My first session with you

During our first session, we will focus on creating a safe and comfortable space for you to share your story and discuss your goals for therapy. I will gather information about your background, current challenges, and aspirations. Together, we will begin to develop a personalized treatment plan tailored to your unique needs and preferences. This initial session serves as the foundation for our therapeutic relationship and sets the stage for your journey towards personal growth and healing.
