Hi there, I'm Julie!

As a therapist, I specialize in supporting clients in connecting with the deeper parts of themselves. My role is to facilitate a compassionate container for you to better understand your past trauma and view it in a new light that aligns with your life purpose.

My approach

My therapeutic approach draws from humanistic, psychodynamic, and mindfulness-based modalities. I also incorporate art therapy, EMDR, and a strength-based perspective to help clients process their experiences and build resilience. Compassion is at the core of how I hold space for your healing journey.

My focus

I work with individuals, including minors ages 13-17. My specialties include helping clients navigate challenges related to anxiety, depression, grief, relationship issues, self-esteem, sexual addiction, sexual abuse, stress, trauma and PTSD.

My communication style

My communication style aims to create an atmosphere of non-judgement, empathy and understanding. I will meet you where you are at emotionally, holding space for your full range of thoughts and feelings. My role is to listen deeply, offer insights and reflections, and collaboratively explore new perspectives with you.

My goals for you

My ultimate goal is to empower you with greater self-understanding, emotional regulation skills, and the ability to live a more purposeful, fulfilling life. Through our work together, I aim to help you process unresolved issues, break free from maladaptive patterns, enhance your relationships, and build a stronger connection with your authentic self.

My first session with you

In our first session, my priority is to begin building a trusting therapeutic relationship with you. I will provide a safe, confidential space for you to share your story, discuss what is bringing you to therapy, and identify your goals. We will collaboratively explore how I can best support you moving forward. You can expect me to be fully present, actively listening, and engaging with empathy and care.
