As your therapist, my approach is client-centered and nonjudgmental. I aim to create a safe and comfortable space for you to uncover your own truths and increase self-awareness.
My approach
I draw upon techniques from Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. My role is to guide and support you in finding solutions, tapping into your intrinsic motivation for change, and identifying thought patterns that may be holding you back.
My focus
I work with individuals, including minors aged 13-17. My specialties include anxiety, bipolar disorder, depression, parenting, perinatal mental health, relationship issues, self-esteem, self-harm, stress, suicidal ideation, panic attacks, coping skills, and career counseling.
My communication style
I believe you are the expert in your own life. My communication style is collaborative and focused on drawing out your innate wisdom and strengths. I listen actively and ask thoughtful questions to help you gain clarity and perspective.
My journey to mental healthcare
My journey in mental healthcare began with clinical hours at Waymakers (formerly Community Service Programs) from July 2014 to August 2017. I worked with the Families First program in Santa Ana and the Crisis Residential Programs in Laguna Beach, Huntington Beach, and Tustin.
My goals for you
My goal is for you to feel empowered and equipped with practical tools to navigate life's challenges. I want to help you build resilience, gain self-understanding, improve your relationships, and move toward the life you envision for yourself.
