Becca Saville, LCSW, specializes in the treatment of trauma, anxiety, and depression, assisting adults to maximize their mental health. As a spouse of a Navy Chaplain veteran and mother of three, I am familiar with the unique challenges of military life and have insight into interpersonal family dynamics.
My approach
I use the evidence-based therapy of Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) to help clients let go of disturbing emotions from adulthood and childhood memories, allowing them to more fully enjoy life in the present. I also employ the Practical Application of Intimate Relationship Skills (PAIRS) to help couples reach their optimal functioning and hone interpersonal interactions for greater relationship satisfaction.
My focus
I work with families, couples, individuals, and minors ages 13-17. My specialties include treating anxiety, trauma, PTSD, and relationship issues.
My communication style
I communicate with warmth, directness, and understanding. My style blends empathy with practicality, allowing me to connect with your unique experiences while guiding you toward effective solutions. I listen closely and ask pertinent questions to gain a deep understanding of your challenges and goals.
My journey to mental healthcare
Prior to private practice, I gained clinical experience at Temecula Valley Hospital from January 2015 to March 2016, and at Keromina Psychiatry from June 2016 to October 2017. My roles as a military spouse and mother have further shaped my understanding of the mental health challenges faced by families.
My goals for you
My goal is to help you learn effective coping strategies for managing mental illness, emotional disturbances, and behavioral issues. I strive to provide an essential service that empowers you to maximize your mental well-being and find greater enjoyment in life and relationships.
