My name is Jessica Davis and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I am extensively trained in DBT and CBT and experienced in working on anxiety reduction and building coping skills.
My approach
My primary modalities are DBT and CBT. I often work from a solution-focused base. I am open to adjusting modalities as clients need and expectations of therapy are uncovered.
My focus
I work with a range of individuals, couples, families, and children. I welcome all sexual and gender identities, making LGBTIAQ+ affirming space a priority in my diverse practice. My primary work is rooted in anxiety reduction/management and mindfulness training. With my extensive training in DBT, my competencies expand to Borderline Personality disorder, self-harm, and suicidal ideation.
My communication style
I practice a range of therapeutic styles depending on client needs. My primary style in therapy is direct, encouraging clients to set measurable goals and remain accountable to the therapeutic process.
My goals for you
I help guide clients to discover their own goals and I provide a framework for setting these goals in an attainable and measurable way.
My first session with you
The first session is spent gathering information and expectations of services. I would like to understand what brought you into therapy and what you hope to get out of the process.
