Hi there, I'm Lori!

Lori Shnorhokian #83954, provide a safe environment and compassionate, non-judgmental counseling to help you explore the personal and relationship challenges you are facing and begin working toward lasting solutions. I

My approach

I pull from a variety of methodologies to help you develop effective strategies and practical coping skills that can address your specific concerns and treatment goals. Whether you are looking for personal growth, relationship healing, or support overcoming substance abuse or addiction, I can help you to more clearly understand why you are struggling and what steps you can take to feel more confident and in control of your life.

My focus

By fostering an interactive and collaborative setting during our sessions, I can help you feel comfortable taking an active role in engaging and addressing the difficult symptoms, thoughts, and emotions you are dealing with. When you develop new coping skills -- such as mindfulness or deep breathing -- you give yourself the resources and confidence you need to effectively manage challenges rather than giving into unhealthy compulsions and negative self-talk.

My communication style

I recognize that everyone experiences and copes with issues such as substance abuse, grief and loss, depression, and anxiety in their own way, and I tailor my work to your particular challenges and needs. No matter what difficulty you are going through, I can help you understand why you are struggling and develop practical, effective solutions. I provide a safe environment and compassionate, non-judgmental counseling to help you explore the personal and relationship challenges you are facing and begin working toward lasting solutions
