Hi! If you are experiencing a difficult time coping with ongoing uncertainty regarding the pandemic or other events in your life, you are not alone. Increases in anxiety, depression, anger, stress, and feelings of overwhelm are common. I am here to help and offer support.
My approach
I believe in the mind/body connection and use a holistic approach to healing and wellness. I have advanced training from the Center for Mind-Body Medicine. I teach mindfulness skills in conjunction with Cognitive Behavior Therapy, and Trauma-Informed care to assist with overcoming challenges with anxiety, depression, trauma, self-care, and self-esteem.
My focus
I help individuals explore interpersonal relationships, and chronic stress and help them bring more balance into their lives.
My communication style
I listen with empathy and without judgment. In our conversations, I aim to create a safe, supportive space where you can openly share your thoughts and feelings. My communication style is warm, collaborative, and focused on helping you develop practical strategies to improve your well-being.
My journey to mental healthcare
My journey to mental healthcare included working at Canyon Acres Residential Treatment Center from June 2004 to June 2005 in Anaheim Hills, CA, New Alternatives Residential Treatment Center from 2005-2006 in Chula Vista, CA, and the San Diego Unified School District Mental Health Resource Center from 2007-2008.
My goals for you
My goal is to provide you with support and nurturing guidance to help you manage stress, anxiety, depression, and trauma. I specialize in working with highly sensitive people (HSP) and aim to help you overcome challenges with self-care and self-esteem.
