Hi there, I'm Robert!

Relationships are at the heart of our emotional pain, and to heal our pain, we need to understand it first. As a therapist, I want to help you understand your problems, identify your goals, and create your brand of change. If you find it hard to set or hold firm boundaries, communicate your feelings, or end toxic relationships, you're in the right place. I work with teens and adults experiencing communication and relationship problems due to trauma, abuse, or domestic violence. To do this, I follow the Cognitive Behavioral Therapy model to help clients identify unhelpful/negative thinking styles, establish neutral and positive reframes, raise social-emotional awareness, and build conflict-resolution skills. Making that first call to a new therapist is scary. And telling a complete stranger all your deepest, darkest secrets to try and feel better can seem hopeless. I won't wave a magic wand to make your problems go away. What I will do is walk with you on your path to healing. It's easy to get lost on that path. Luckily, my experience and compassion are the GPS.
