Hi there, I'm Stephanny!

Hello, my name is Stephanny Perea-Perez. I am a licensed psychologist who has a holistic approach to mental health and wellness. I believe that we all have the capacity to heal through the process of getting to know and understand ourselves. I work with the BIPOC and LGBTQ+ communities and provide bilingual services for Spanish-speaking individuals.

My approach

I am a cognitive behavioral therapist (CBT) with a psychoanalytic approach. This means that I like to explore and understand how each person's life experiences shape and impact their thoughts and beliefs. We work together to change the beliefs that no longer serve the person and instill new ones that create a positive life perspective.

My focus

I work with motivated clients who are ready to make changes in their lives. Punctuality and consistency are very important for treatment and are highly encouraged for my clients.

My communication style

I create a warm, friendly, and safe environment for all of my clients to feel comfortable with opening up and being vulnerable. I believe in being kind, compassionate, honest, and transparent in every session.

My first session with you

Clients should expect to share why they are seeking therapy and some of their past history. This helps me get a whole picture of the person so I can best understand them and how to help them.
