My name is Ross Zellner and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). I provide telehealth services in the state of California. I work with children, adolescents, adults, and families. I specialize in OCD, anxiety, stress, depression, autism, and more. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Exposure, and Response Prevention Therapy, and other evidence-based practices to help my clients meet their treatment goals.
My approach
I take a holistic, strengths-based, and solution-focused approach. I use this approach to build on my client’s strengths, support them in solving any problems they are experiencing, and help them in meeting their specific needs.
My focus
I have found that my style and approach are a good fit for children, teens, and adults who are dealing with various challenges. I work to help my clients develop a more positive outlook on life, to build skills to help them manage their mental health, and to learn ways to solve any problems that may arise in the future.
My communication style
My communication style is calm, motivational, and personable. I use empathy and my own experiences to help clients feel comfortable talking with me about anything and to normalize their experiences.
My journey to mental healthcare
I decided to become a therapist because I have always wanted to help people.
My goals for you
My approach to goal setting with clients is all about working together to identify what you want to accomplish in our time together.
My first session with you
The first session is about us beginning to build a trusting relationship and for me to learn about you. I will be asking questions to better understand what you are going through.
