More people struggle with anxiety and depression than would like to admit it. It can also feel very isolating and hopeless at times. Whether you are a teen or adult, it can be important to talk to someone who can help with processing your experiences. If you are motivated for change and looking for someone to keep you accountable, you have come to the right place.
My approach
I like to use a Cognitive Behavioral inspired approach to examine patterns and behaviors to find positive exceptions to build off of. Every person is unique, so every therapeutic experience is unique.
My focus
I am willing to see individuals and specialize in addiction, adolescents/teens, alcohol use, anxiety, codependency, coping skills, cultural stress, depression, drug abuse, eating disorders, grief, job stress, life transitions, men's issues, racial identity, racial trauma, relapse prevention, self esteem, self-harming, sexual orientation, stress, substance use, suicidal ideation, transgender issues, women's issues, and gender identity.
My communication style
It is important to me to have open and transparent communication with my clients in order to give them what they need. I know it can be hard to ask for help. My goal is to always create a judge free environment where clients can speak freely about their issues.
My journey to mental healthcare
