Hello. My name is Vernalyn, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I have had the privilege of working with clients with a wide range of concerns including anxiety, depression, acute stress, life transitions, life stressors, family dynamic issues, coping with new medical diagnoses, end-of-life, and other various life challenges.
My approach
My approach combines cognitive-behavioral therapy, motivational therapy, solution-focused, psychodynamic, and client-centered approach. I will tailor my intervention to each specific client to best address their needs. My modalities include Cognitive Behavioral (CBT), Solution Focused Brief (SFBT), Strength-Based, Motivational Interviewing, Psychodynamic, and Intervention.
My focus
I am willing to see Individuals and Minors (13-17). My specialties are Anxiety, Depression, Stress, Life Coaching, and Older Adults.

My journey to mental healthcare
I earned my Master of Social Work degree and completed my clinical hours for licensure from August 2013 to 2017. Helping others and empowering positive change has always been my passion, which led me to pursue a career in mental healthcare as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker.
