Welcome! I'm glad you're here. As a therapist, I do my best to be kind, honest, and intentional in my communication. I'm really listening to you, offering gentle reflections of yourself and your relational patterns, and co-creating a supportive space to be curious about yourself, your relationships, and your purpose. I earned my Master of Social Work (MSW) degree from the University of California, Los Angeles, where I studied from September 2016 to June 2018.
My approach
In therapy with me, we can explore existential questioning, queerness, systemic oppression, cultural identity, intergenerational trauma, meaning-making, aging, death & dying, grief & loss, sex, or simply what's going on in your life and how you can feel better. In addition to talk therapy, I can also offer mind-body therapies like Brainspotting (BSP) and the Trauma Resiliency Model (TRM).
My focus
I work with individuals, couples, and families. Some areas of focus include aging, anxiety, chronic illness, chronic pain, coping skills, cultural stress, depression, grief, LGBTQIA+ issues, psychosis, racial identity, racial trauma, relationship issues, school issues, self-esteem, sexual orientation, spirituality, stress, transgender issues, trauma and PTSD, women's issues, older adults, and gender identity.
My communication style
I offer reflections in a gentle style or more directly, whatever style of communication feels safest to you. My aim is to create a supportive space where you feel heard.
My goals for you
My goal is to support you in gaining insight into yourself, your relationships, and your life purpose. I hope to empower you with coping skills and greater self-understanding.
