Hello there! I'm Elle. The reason I wanted to become a therapist was to be the kind of therapist I always wished I had by my side - someone who does more than just hear you out. I'm here to offer real, practical tools and insights to help improve your mental health.
My approach
My primary focus is on understanding you and what matters most to you. I customize my treatment methods to align with your unique requirements. The two approaches I practice are Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). These evidence-based treatments have demonstrated effectiveness in treating anxiety and depression conditions that I specialize in.

Anxiety: I specialize in various types of anxiety such as generalized anxiety, panic disorder, social anxiety, and phobias. I also specialize in depression as well.
My communication style
My therapy style is supportive, encouraging, and positive. I believe it’s important to build trust and connection with you while creating a safe space for you to share and heal. We will work best with each other and you will gain the most from therapy with me if you are open, willing to learn, and follow through with my recommendations that are specific to your needs and goals for therapy. I've always been passionate about seeing people overcome challenges and embrace both the good and imperfect parts that make them unique. I'm excited and motivated to help you overcome your challenges as I have with my own mental and health difficulties. My first session with you
In our initial therapy session, we will go over key aspects of your life such as your physical and mental health history and additional information important to your care. This is crucial for developing a personalized treatment plan and, if needed, providing a diagnosis for you. Should it be necessary, I’m able to offer referrals to beneficial services such as holistic care or psychological testing. Throughout our time together, I will guide you through the process, ensuring that you are not navigating your care alone. Your involvement in your own care is important to me, and I will maintain open communication with you every step of the way.
