My approach
As a client-centered based therapist, I tailor my approach to fit the needs of each client. I use an attachment-based lens to view all situations. Evidence-based techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) are utilized to help you to determine any cognitive distortions that may impact you and help you to better manage your emotions and life issues. I use Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), also known as Tapping, for anxiety, unresolved trauma, and to help shift your thinking in a positive way. A narrative approach helps you to rewrite your story to view the past or present circumstances differently and better manage your daily view on life. I also use EMDR techniques for those who are severely stuck. My strength-based approach helps clients to leave every session feeling valued, affirmed, and hopeful. My own evidence-based holistic approach helps you to align in mind, body, and soul. Incorporating a healthy belief system and spirituality can help you to find deeper meaning, purpose and live your best life.

My journey to mental healthcare
I have been intrigued by what makes some families healthy and resilient ever since I can remember. My passion grew over the years. My entire life has been a pursuit to determine the secret to healthy individuals and families. I wanted to know how to break negative generational patterns and harmful behaviors. This began my educational and personal journey. My desire is to help you to develop the necessary tools to thrive starting with you. I strongly believe that with the right support, knowledge, and emotional intelligence we can overcome anything. We should all strive to be healthy in mind, body, and soul and live a purpose-driven life filled with love, joy, peace and gratitude.
