Hello, I am Shaylale Taylor, a licensed marriage and family therapist with over a decade of experience in community mental health helping others. My life's passion is providing others with tools to encourage them to strive to be the best versions of themselves.
My approach
As a clinician, I have experience working with diverse individuals and families facing a wide range of challenges, from relationship issues, adjustment issues, and school challenges, to severe trauma, grief and loss, and substance abuse. I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help my clients create positive change.
My focus
I work with individuals, including minors aged 13-17. My specialties include anger management, behavioral issues, anxiety, coping skills, depression, and LGBTQIA+-related challenges.
My communication style
I aim to provide a safe space for my clients to be their authentic selves. Life isn't easy but it's worth it. Everyone needs a little help sometimes, and I'm here to offer the tools and support to navigate life's difficulties.
My journey to mental healthcare
From 2011 to 2015, I completed my clinical hours for licensure at Masada Homes in Lancaster, California. This experience solidified my commitment to helping others improve their mental well-being and live fulfilling lives.
My goals for you
My goal is to empower you with the tools and insights to manage life's challenges, foster personal growth, and cultivate a more positive outlook. Together, we will work towards helping you become the best version of yourself.
