As your therapist, I guide you through life obstacles, past trauma, negative thoughts that hinder progress and undermine your confidence.
My approach
I offer a safe nonjudgmental space to explore your world and mindset. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) which is evidence-based psychotherapy recognized to help recover from trauma, grief, anxiety, and other disorders. I also incorporate Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Solution Focus Therapy, Mindfulness, and Motivational Therapy.
My focus
I work with adult individuals who have experienced trauma, difficulty grieving, anxiety, work stress, recent loss, family stress, and feeling stuck in life.
My communication style
I believe people need to feel safe in therapy so I strive to create a space that is open, impartial, and receptive. I want my clients to feel supported with life challenges, empowered to overcome obstacles, and confident to share thoughts and emotions freely without prejudice or judgment.
