Not currently accepting patients

Hi there, I'm Lynda!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) Therapist licensed in California with over 15 years of experience working with families and individuals. For the past 9 years, I have been providing therapy for those facing mental health barriers.

My approach

My approach to therapy involves empowering clients through therapeutic and biblical principles that instill, empower and support their unique voice and choice, while maintaining safety and a sense of wellness. I utilize a variety of modalities including Acceptance and Commitment (ACT), Attachment-based, Christian Counseling, Cognitive Behavioral (CBT), Dialectical (DBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Grief Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Trauma Focused, and more.

My focus

I work with individuals and specialize in treating a wide range of concerns, including addiction, anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, relationship issues, anger management, bipolar disorder, chronic illness, grief, self-esteem, sleep issues, and many others. I also have experience helping older adults and those in the LGBTQIA+ community.

My communication style

In my work, I take a non-judgmental approach and aim to create a supportive environment. I believe in collaborating with my clients and tailoring treatment to their unique needs and goals.

My journey to mental healthcare

My journey to mental healthcare began with a passion for helping others. I obtained my Master of Social Work degree and have dedicated my career to supporting individuals and families through challenges. I have extensive experience as a Crisis Responder in community, hospital, and law enforcement settings, where I provided training and coaching on responding to mental health crises.

My goals for you

My goal for you is to feel empowered, understood, and equipped with the tools and insights to navigate life's challenges, enhance your well-being, and move towards healing and growth. I strive to create a safe space where you can express yourself authentically and find the support you need.

My first session with you

In our first session, we will focus on understanding your unique situation, concerns, and goals for therapy. This will be an opportunity for us to get to know each other, discuss what you hope to achieve through our work together, and begin developing a personalized treatment plan to support your mental health journey. I aim to create a comfortable, non-judgmental environment where you can share openly and take the first steps towards positive change.
