I believe therapy should be a place where you are able to recognize your potential. Where you feel heard, valued, and supported to reach your goals.
My approach
I work from a Person-Centered lens and pull from other theoretical orientations such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Narrative Therapy. It is my belief that trust, authenticity, and a strong therapeutic relationship pave the way for growth. I aim to cultivate a non-judgmental space in the therapy room where you feel heard and empowered along your healing journey.
My focus
I have an extensive background working with individuals facing difficult life transitions, those who are experiencing anxiety and depression, and those who are impacted by chronic illness and grief and loss.
My communication style
I communicate with warmth, empathy, and genuineness. I listen closely to understand your unique perspective and needs. Through open and collaborative dialogue, I aim to create a safe space where you feel comfortable sharing your thoughts and feelings.
My journey to mental healthcare
My journey in mental healthcare includes providing therapy at Cancer Support Pasadena from 2014-2015 and again from 2017-2019. I also worked at Los Feliz Charter School for the Arts in 2014-2015, Five Keys Charter School in 2015-2016, and The Help Group in 2016-2017. These diverse experiences have shaped my approach and dedication to helping others along their healing journeys.
